The staggering villa cost the owner and NFL player Joe Montana a jaw-dropping $35 million. Interestingly, after Joe Montana and his partner lived in the villa, they sold it off and moved to a relatively low-key $2.3 million condominium unit within the same area, near the San Francisco Marina District.

James Harrison is another NFL legend who spent his fortune on a mansion – one that costs $1.8 million and is located in Shadyside. There was a lot of action on the estate seeing as it was great for entertaining guests and hosting parties. However, the lavish complex was constructed in 1994, so James realized that it would be too much to revamp the place and make it more modern. He went on to sell the mansion and we can only imagine what kind of house he’ll choose next.
